Three Missionary Families Looking Heavenward
Three GBIM missionary staff families are in need of prayer as they soon will face or have already faced separation from loved ones. Kent and Becky Good are to arrive in Orlando, FL 11PM Wednesday night. Kent's father may soon be with the lord. He has been suffering from congestive heart failure for over a year.
Kent writes, "He just turned 91, loves Jesus and is ready for heaven. So, although our hearts are heavy at the thought of Mom being alone after nearly 67 years of marriage, we are thankful that Dad's suffering may soon be over and he'll be with his Lord.

Please keep praying for Dave and Becky Schwan as well. His father is still living, but not doing well. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors and family, for comfort and for peace.
Please continue to hold Rob and Nichole Plaster, as well as the rest of the family, in your prayers following the death of Rob's father last week following an emotionally draining vigil at his bedside for many days. Pray for God's comfort for all the family and for the ability to look ahead to a brilliant future when all will be reunited in heaven. -

Larry asks prayer for energy and health in the soaring temperatures.
Pray for the Spirit to direct the teaching sessions and that the students will be encouraged and strengthened in their faith.

David Plaster Home with the Lord
David Plaster, GBIM board member and pastor of the Grace Brethren Church of Worthington (Columbus), Ohio, is now home with the Lord. Here is a brief note from Plaster's Caring Bridge site by his son, Rob: "At 9:40pm Saturday night, our Dad went home to be with our Savior. He went quickly, peacefully and quietly... The family prefers that you do not send flowers — a memorial fund has been started in Dad's honor."
In lieu of flowers the family has started a memorial fund in Dave's honor. Gifts can be given online or sent to the Dave Plaster Memorial Fund c/o GBIM, PO Box 80065 City of Industry, California 91716-8065. The family requests that all tributes be submitted to their website at www.caringbridge.org/visit/daveplaster.
