–noun

  1. A 4-6 week team of interns going to one of the four regions – Africa, Asia, Europe or Latin America – where GBIM has ministries.
  2. An opportunity to immerse yourself in the reality of missions, experience another culture, learn some language, minister cross culturally, share life with a missionary team and more.
  3. Learn about missions in a hands-on ministry context.  Be mentored by experienced missionaries.  Study the strategy and methods missionaries are using.
  4. Explore missions as a possibility for your future.  Everything is designed to give you experiences to confirm God’s gifting for cross-cultural missions or provide a realistic understanding of how best to pray for and support others.

A Mission Exploration Team may be the best next step for you!  Prerequisites are simple – out of high school, positive short term experience, and endorsement by your church.  Although it is not essential to be committed to becoming a missionary, you will get the most out of it if you are open to missions in your future. Download the MET brochure to learn more.
